BLOXHUB MORNINGS: NEW INTELLIGENCE IN URBAN SYSTEMS

Date(s):
Thursday 05.10.2017
Location:
Event Room, Fæstningens Materialgård, Frederiksholms Kanal 30, 1220 Copenhagen.

October 5: BLOXHUB mornings is an inspiring series of events focusing on innovation and growth within the field of architecture, construction, urban development and design. This time: Computational intelligence promise new solutions to urban challenges.
With more and more people living in cities, existing urban infrastructures come under pressure. Municipalities are facing large investments to sustain livability and future proof the cities. At the same time, digitization holds the potential to transform the ways urban systems work. New advances in computational intelligence promise to provide new efficient solutions to the large complex urban challenges.

Using the water complex as an example, we will take stock of how artificial intelligence, big data and other new technologies can help to solve the challenges to urban systems, and also what requirements are needed to fulfill the promise.
