Meet IFHP President Flemming Borreskov and CEO Anette Galskjøt at World Cities Summit (WCS) Mayors Forum 2017 in Suzhou, to discuss "Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Embracing the Future through Innovation and Collaboration".
As the 2014 Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize Laureate, Suzhou will play host to mayors, city leaders, international organisations and industry leaders, who will share best practices and urban innovations that promote liveable and sustainable cities at the 8th edition of the Mayors Forum. 
 
Participants of the WCS Mayors Forum, will join mayors from cities that are highly regarded for their urban practices and achievements. Also present at the Forum are leaders in the fields of civic engagement, urban solutions, international development and non-profit work, as well as the dynamic World Cities Summit Young Leaders.

About the forum 

Participants of the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum, will join mayors from cities that are highly regarded for their urban practices and achievements. Also present at the Forum are leaders in the fields of civic engagement, urban solutions, international development and non-profit work, as well as the dynamic World Cities Summit Young Leaders.
 
The Forum is co-organised by Singapore’s Centre for Liveable Cities and the Urban Redevelopment Authority and is a flagship event of the World Cities Summit (WCS), which is held in Singapore biennially. A highlight of each WCS is the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, which honours outstanding contributions towards creating liveable and sustainable urban communities around the world. The laureate city has the privilege of hosting the Mayors Forum.
