IFHP provides a global knowledge platform with members from 50+ countries where ideas, research, and practice are exchanged across institutional and national boundaries.

Membership positions organisations and individuals within international housing and planning debates. IFHP provides channels to engage with policy processes, contribute to shared agendas, and influence the direction of the field.

Visibility and recognition in the professional community
IFHP membership places individuals and organisations within a recognised international professional community. Membership is both a marker of credibility and an active channel for visibility including for the next generation of housing and planning professionals.
Opportunities for partnership and funded activity
Membership opens pathways to collaborative work: joint projects, co-developed programmes, and funded initiatives. IFHP provides an institutional umbrella under which members can develop applications, build partnerships, and deliver cross-border activity.
